DVK stands for... Dela Vs. Koran

I have ALWAYS used a Koran forcing deck... of which there are a few variations, each with its own name.

The version I present to you is technically a Koran 101 Deck (aka 5 Star Prediction Deck).

They are only "rough for now"... I hope to make a more professional set in the future... These do the job though for now...

This is a very special pack of cards that will force one of 4 different playing cards. Each 'stack' of 4 cards is repeated down the deck with an indifferent playing card between each one.

This means that the cards can be dealt 'face up' on a table and no one will see the force cards repeating!

This is because there are EIGHT different cards dealt between each set of two identical force cards. No one pays attention to every card dealt and they especially don't remember what they saw 'eight cards earlier'.

Each of the 4 force cards appears in the deck 6 times.

The other AMAZING thing about this set up is that you can spread the deck (face up) on a table, or between your hands and yet the audience can't focus quickly enough to make out the repeated cards! It's mind-blowing how fair and convincing this is.

The 4 Force Cards are...

• Jack of Spades
• 3 of Hearts
• 8 of Clubs
• 5 of Diamonds

The most basic routine... and, the one I use the most is this...

A wallet is placed down on the table.

A pack of cards is introduced and spread face up on the table to show that they are all mixed up.

From a face down pack, the cards are dealt 'face up' one at a time into a pile.

The spectator is instructed to say stop whenever they like... They stop, that card is placed to one side.

The wallet is opened and inside there is an envelope, inside that envelope is ONE playing card, The Jack of Spades.

The card they freely stopped at is turned over and it is also the Jack of Spades!

They match! ... a seemingly impossible prediction!!!

• For this, you need the DVK Deck and the 4 prediction cards (provided) ready to reveal however you'd like.

I have mine in 2 x two way envelopes (to cover all 4 cards) and then those envelopes are in a small Himber Wallet, one double envelope on each side.

If you don't have any two way envelopes or a Himber Wallet, that's fine! You can use a regular 'bill-fold' style wallet. You simply have the cards in the "bill section" divided by bills or receipts!

If you don't want to do that, it can be as simple as having one of each of the force cards in a different jacket pocket and you just pull out the matching one whilst saying... "and nope I don't have 52 pockets...hehe".

Now... It is fair to say that anyone could make themselves a Koran Deck... I did for years, you simply need to buy 6 packs of cards.

Sooo... Why should I buy myself a DVK Deck and not just make my own Koran Deck?

I am very glad you asked!.. The DVK has MANY Features and Advantages over a "home made" pack... all of which open up different ways to present your routines. This includes different ways to force the cards which couldn't be achieved before now.

You'll be able to perform all of the usual "Koran" routines... and many more due to the unique advantages that this pack presents.

UNIQUE FEATURES

• 100% PVC (plastic) - This pack is built to last. This is a 'PRO Edition' product within the Night Flight line up. This means that your DVK Deck will last for YEARS... not months!
• Marked Cards - Using our famous HUGE markings creates so many advantages... The main one being that you will always know which force card you're about to reveal without having to keep track of which cards have been dealt onto the face up pile.
• Extra Markings - These will tell you which force card is directly above the 'card back' that you're looking at. This means that instead of the usual dealing process, you can instead dribble the cards and have them say stop. A bold marking (in the right top corner star) will tell you whether the card on the face of the cut or the card below it is your force card.
• Numbered Backs - The back of each card is secretly numbered sequentially. This means that should you happen to drop the deck or shuffle them, it is super easy to get them back into order. Also, as an added bonus, they can cut off a packet and you can tell them how many cards they have in their hand.
• World's First PRINTED Koran Deck - Why does that matter?... Oh it matters a lot... being printed has many advantages, the first being that every deck produced is exactly the same and of course has the same force cards. This makes it a modular system which means that other reveals can be mass produced in the future! As an example this could be a set of 4 custom printed Sharpies that reveal the chosen card... or a set of key rings... or a set of our LIGHT cards... or special wallets... or jumbo predictions etc. You get the idea!
