Transition Playing Cards marks the second installment in the celebrated Creation Series, a highly anticipated sequel to the multi-awarded Inception Playing Cards released in 2021. With over a year of careful development, this deck was designed to be the perfect follow-up to its predecessor.

Building on the heart of Inception, it introduces new and captivating details, creating a seamless blend of familiarity and innovation. This deck offers something recognizable from the original while introducing new layers of artistry and design that captivate the senses and expand the story that began with Inception.

A Mythical Revelation

The Kings, Queens, and Jacks pay tribute to the rich and intricate world of Philippine mythology, bringing to life a diverse pantheon of gods and goddesses. Each card showcases a powerful deity, ranging from the god of fierce lightning to the god of tranquil waters.

It also introduces gods associated with the treacherous outskirts of mountains, alongside a goddess who embodies the lush richness of blossoming forests and wildlife. Among the unique characters is the goddess of lost things, adding a captivating twist to the narrative.

When illuminated with UV light, the true essence or aura of each deity shines through, enhancing the visual experience and inviting exploration of the enchanting stories that shape the cultural landscape.

Duality and Discovery

The jokers offer a unique take on a mythical being, portrayed as both a man and a woman, with shared facial features but subtle differences to distinguish the two. This representation reflects a modern, inclusive approach, making the deck a celebration of gender diversity and inclusivity.

For the extra cards, a diptych showcases the daughters of the supreme god, each representing a distinct aspect of the natural world-one as the goddess of the moon, another of the stars, and the third of the morning. Look closely, and you'll find an intricate detail: a subtle easter egg depicting the wounded eye of one of the goddesses, a nod to a battle with her brother.

The back design takes center stage, featuring the mythical bird. Building on the familiar form from its predecessor, Transition enhances the design with added intricacy. Hidden within the design are three secret images, waiting to be discovered by those who seek them.
