The End of My Rope by Chris Philpott

Il mago arrotola una corda, e chiede ad uno spettatore di fare un taglio con la forbice attraverso le anse della corda stessa - il mago poi getta in aria i pezzi e questi si riuniscono magicamente! La corda è sempre visibile e non è mai scambiata e può essere esaminata prima e dopo l'effetto!

End-of-my-Rope è uno straordinario effetto eseguibile da solo, oppure come momento clou di altre routine con la  corda. Chris (un rinomato sceneggiatore) ha trovato un modo per innalzare la spettacolarità dei classici giochi con la corda, pur rimanendo fedele al concetto originale. Davvero innovativo!

Può essere utilizzato con una miriade di materiali - come le maglie di una catena, o con stelle filanti e si possono eseguire una gran varietà di effetti, improvvisati o con gimmick.

End-of-my-Rope pur non essendo automatico, non è difficile da eseguire. Presenta una difficoltà medio-facile, a seconda della variante scelta. Una persona senza destrezza per esempio, può eseguire alcune varianti solo dopo poche ore di pratica.
